Following up on the 2010 Magic Online Championship Series (MOCS) season which was won by the 2002 World Champion Carlos Ramao, Wizards has released the schedule and information about next year's season. Check out their info page at Wizards.com.
The Series looks to be much the same as 2010's, updated for formats etc. The Magic Online Championship event will be at the World Championships next year in San Francisco, CA, USA. And the winner will be awarded $25,000 as well as one complete digital premium foil set, and one complete digital standard set. Second place receives $17,000 as well as the digital sets. And prizes continue down to the 12th place which receives $4,000 and one digital complete standard set.
The Magic Online Championship Series is a tournament series run via Magic Online, it is run in a series of seasons with qualifier points earned which go towards winning a place at the final events of the year. Read the information page on Wizards.com to understand the full system and rules.
