Last week, we had some fun with a Bant Midrange deck and this week I decided to take it a step further. Today's list is a dedicated aggro deck featuring one of my favorite cards, Boon Satyr! The deck has a lot of creatures with low power/toughness, but powerful text. Boon Satyr is a great card to turn these creatures into powerful attackers, and you can potentially have some serious blow-outs inside of combat. One of the things I like most about the deck is with Boon Satyr, Dromoka's Command, Restoration Angel, and Spell Queller, your opponent is in a really tough spot whenever you have open mana. The potential for tricks along with Reflector Mage, Elspeth, Knight-Errant, and the Exalted mechanic means that you always have profitable attacks. The last bit of icing on the cake is Oath of Nissa, which really is just like Ponder.

Next week, Aether Revolt is released online and I have been busy brewing new Standard decks. My favorite brew at the moment is a reboot of an old favorite, G/W Tokens. The previous version, (that I loved), was more of a midrange control deck that used Planeswalkers to get ahead on resources while flipping Archangel Avacyn or casting Tragic Arrogance decimated the opponent's board. For this new version, the key is Rishkar, Peema Renegade. This card is nuts, putting 4 power and toughness onto the board for 3 mana and you can even get some of that mana refunded. I have it in a more aggressive shell that is trying to get a bunch of bodies onto the board and then start pumping them. With the low cost of all these cards and the ability to get extra mana, opponents will not be able to keep up while you vomit power and toughness onto the board.
