867 players showed up to play Return to Ravnica Block limited in Bangkok this weekend, and after fifteen rounds the Top 8 player sat down to draft. The Top 8 featured a number of incredible players, including six-time Grand Prix Top 8 competitor Nicholas Jonathan Wong and 2009 and 2012 Player of the Year Yuuya Watanabe.
The weekend was defined by aggressive decks, particularly those in the Rakdos and Boros guilds, but in the end it was Patriawan Kurniadi who took the event down with a Bant control deck that weathered the early beatdown and then ended games with powerful spells like Aetherling. You can check out Kurniadi's deck below and head over to DailyMTG.com for additional coverage.
Congratulations to Patriawan Kurniadi, champion of Grand Prix Bangkok.
