One thing that we’ve seen a lot of in Standard with Kaladesh block is three- and four-color decks powered by the combination of Attune with Aether, Servant of the Conduit, and Aether Hub. With the banning of Aetherworks Marvel opening the door for new and interesting midrange decks, I think it’s likely that we’ll see a resurgence of Green-based midrange in order to fight the Mardu Vehicles menace. One way to make that happen is to try to use ramp and removal to set up for Planeswalkers on empty boards. Abyloser went a different route and decided its best to just outclass their creatures:

This is a super interesting deck if you’re looking to play midrange. It’s packed with all the best value creatures and a great mana base. You get the old Aetherworks Marvel shell of Servant of the Conduit plus Rogue Refiner to ensure that you’ve got access to plenty of mana of whatever colors you need, particularly in conjunction with Aether Hub. With that, you’re going to be casting Tireless Trackers and Spell Quellers to generate tempo and card advantage early on in the game.
Your gameplan is really just to gum up the board so that your giant creatures can take over the game. If you can stall out the early game with Rogue Refiners and Tireless Trackers, you’ll have time to get your Woodland Wanderers and Spell Quellers online. Then you can lead your opponent into blowouts with Archangel Avacyn, break the stalemate with Verdurous Gearhulk, or start generating overwhelming advantages with Tamiyo, Field Researcher activations.
If you’re looking to dominate the combat step, this is a deck that does it. You’ve got all the best value creatures, all the biggest creatures in the format, and a handful of ways to break up stalemates. This may be one of the best Tamiyo decks we’ve seen in many months, and I can’t wait to see the card start to see more play. You’re a little light on interaction, but it’s not clear that you need that when all your cards are as powerful as this.
