It was the 25 year old Italian who stood atop the field at Pro Tour Philadelphia, carrying his Modern version of Splinter Twin he defeated the crowd favorite Joshua Utter-Leyton and his 'Counter-Cat' deck. Modern has been interesting, while a combo-heavy format many were thankful it was not dominated by a single archetype. Instead the Top 8 carried six different archetypes and the field bore many more.
