Gerry Thompson is hot. Very hot. In the SCG Open Dallas/Fort Worth he won the Standard Open and lost in the Semi-finals against the eventual Legacy Open winner Blake McCracken. Congratulations to both of you!

Also this weekend, Gerry Thompson's finishes were enough to bump him to the SCG Player Club Level 7. He is the first player to attain this level of their rewards and it includes such benefits as a $250 appearance fee at these Open events (an increase from $100 for Level 6), free entry into both Constructed Open events, and more.
