Two notable changes to the 2011 Grand Prix schedule have been released by Wizards.
Grand Prix Hamburg, previously scheduled to take place March 12-13, 2011, has been canceled and will not be rescheduled. No reason was given for this change to the schedule.
Secondly Grand Prix Amsterdam was announced as an unscheduled event, with its dates "TBA." Wizards has since released its dates, taking place in the fall of 2011, on October 22-23. This will be a Legacy event which falls on the same dates as the South American Grand Prix in Santiago, Chile. Pros will have a choice which event they wish to attend, with the Chilean Grand Prix being a limited format event with the currently codenamed "Shake" set.
One change which was expected but did not come was that Grand Prix London (Apr. 30 - May 1) will not be rescheduled. It is happening the same day as the British Royal wedding which promises to make London hotel rooms hard to find as people travel to see the marriage. Wizards noted the conflict in their announcement of the two previous GP changes, but only to make players aware rather than make any changes to the schedule.
