As has been reported by our friends at theStarkingtonPost.com, Grand Prix Paris (which is taking place alongside the first Pro Tour of the year as part of the Magic Weekend Paris) will not allow any players to register for the Grand Prix if they arrive on Saturday. Players must pre-register for the event on either Thursday or Friday before.
NOTE: There will be no Saturday morning registration for Grand Prix Paris. You must register during the days and times listed above. Be sure to register on Thursday or Friday to ensure your spot in the Grand Prix.
Given that this will be the first time Wizards has overseen a Grand prix which ran the same weekend and the same location with a Pro Tour. Combine the unknown with the very known element that is the general size of Grand Prixes in Europe, and you have a situation which calls for careful organization and planning.
