After 15 rounds of play, eight players prepared for the Top 8 draft.  Makihito Mihara came out on top of the standings at the end of the swiss, and would be on the play throughout the Top 8.  Mihara took advantage of this by drafting an aggressive Rakdos deck and smashing his opponents before they could mount a defense.
