Earlier today I tweeted the following:
[easybox]@mtgcolorpie - patience. About to spoil the contents[/easybox]
And then a little later I had to tweet this message:
[easybox]Wizards has asked me to hold off spoiling the deck lists until tomorrow. So check ManaNation.com tomorrow at 4pm EST/1pm PST. #mtg[/easybox]
So here's the deal. Wizards had planned to spoil the upcoming Duel decks: Phyrexia vs the Coalition, and I got permission to get the deck lists, copy them down and bring them online to the masses. As I'm finishing up entering them online and just about to submit they find me and tell me to hold off. They need to wait until tomorrow because the unveiling is tied into some special guests they have. Two staffers / writers from Adult Swim who will be gunslinging and using these very decks.
I've agreed to hold off and will have the article go up tomorrow at 4pm EST / 1pm PST when the Wizards' enforced embargo is lifted. But if it gets fully spoiled elsewhere on the net because I held off on posting it, I'm going to be very frustrated.
