With two events down, StarCityGames.com's Open series is fully underway. This past weekend saw hundreds of players come together in San Jose, California to battle in Standard, Legacy and Draft for their Open weekend.

Standard

The Standard Open that took place on Saturday was a star-studded event which saw a well known Top 4 rise out of the event, at the top was Alex Bertoncini, Brian Kibler, Adam Prosak and Matt Nass. Out of these four it was Adam Prosak with RUG Control which took the title and the check. Prosak defeated Bertoncini's RUG Control in the finals.

Legacy

Following the Standard Open, Sunday was a finals between Gerry Thompson (who won the SCG Invitational last year) and Iain Bartolomei. Bartolomei took the trophy with his Legacy Goblins build defeating Gerry's Counter-Top.
