The game's elegant mechanics combine card drafting and area control to produce a system rich in strategic options and interpersonal interactions.
At the same time, brilliantly crafted tiles give every game a unique, gradually unfolding geography. The gorgeous original art brings Ireland's ancient epics and audacious heroes to life.
There are three different types of cards in Inis:
Action Cards - These are drafted each round and provide the base actions to deploy troops, move troops, attack, and play new regions.
Advantage Cards - These are acquired as a result of controlling certain regions. Each region has its own Advantage Card you receive as a result of having the most troops in it.
Epic Tales Cards - These unique and powerful cards evoke the Celtic gods and heroes to inspire the clans to accomplish legendary feats.
Incredible Celtic-Inspired Artwork
With beautiful cover and card artwork by Celtic artist Jim Fitzpatrick (the first time his work has appeared on a board game), along with the haunting and visually striking territory tiles by Dimitri Bielak, Inis is both a game of beauty as well as a deeply strategic experience.
Don't pass up your chance to get this incredible artwork that looks like nothing else.
Over 65 Highly-Detailed Miniatures
With four unique Clans to lead, Inis contains a whopping 48 miniature figures!
This is 12 in each color - Blue, White, Orange, and Green. Each player gets a full set of Clan figures to deploy and conquer.
But those are just the Clan figures. Inis also contains nine Sanctuary buildings that are one path to victory. Eight Citadels can shelter Clan members if necessary, and one Capital Citadel will determine who is the King of the Island, aka the "Inis."
