Hello happy folks! I hope your day is going super mega well! Heading back to the first set we had a Simic deck built around Pingers (called "Tims") like Prodigal Sorcerer and Pirate Ship and then self-targets in Green called Fungusaur that growed with a +1/+1 for each damage dealt! I made a real life Commander deck around this combo with Dinosaurs with the enrage ability here. This is a real life brew I still have together, but have updated a bit here and there. I also have a real life Commander Golgari brew around Vhati il-Dal that turns your foe's toughness to one and kills them. It's here.
I also built Jeskai for you in theory crafting to add in red for more Pingers and Dinosaurs and White for more targets, and just recently Rakdos Pingers in Budget around Tolsimir here.
So, my goal today is to unite all colors into an Ultimate 5 Color Pinger brew! Who do I want to build around?
How about Morophon, the Boundless? You can name Wizards to reduce the cost of most Tims or Dinosaurs for them. Maybe Humans randomly. And pump them too, I do it.
Lands, Mana, Rock, and Ramp
Let's start with the boring stuff! Ranging Raptors will enrage and ramp a basic land tapped. Drop it early, lean on it heavily. I do like Rampant Growths here to grab the best land for our need, but I am just running the three for nonbasics like Farseek.
I like 3 mana ramp one basic land tapped and another to your hand to fix that mana! I am running all three here for 40% mana needs fixed. I also like colorless mana rocks here and the three-drop Manalith variant above will tap for any color and your lands will too!
Now let's turn to lands that care about it. Desert from Arabian Nights will tap to ting an attacker for one damage, but just after combat is finished. Shivan Gorge taps for colorless, and with three to ping all foes for one. The World Tree ETBs tapped, and all of your stuff taps for all of the colors as long as we have 6 lands, easily done here!
Now let's turn to lands that smooth mana. I am running all ten of the tri lands that cycle for 3 mana, ETB tapped, and count as three land types (Spara's Headquarters). I could also run Shock Lands here too, but instead I am running the 10 common just printed Deserts that fix 2 mana and ETB tapped like Abraded Bluffs, and then will also ping a foe on arrival to the battlefield for this brew.
Cool Pingers
Now let's turn to the cool Pingers this brew is built around! The artifact is one of my favorite since it'll tap for 1 mana to shoot anything for a damage, and then they'll make a free 1/1 Squirrel so if you target your stuff you'll get a free 1/1 dork to block and swing. The 6 mana legendary dork has a Ball Lightning sized body and haste too, and can tap to shoot something for three damage, huge here, and then can swing or kill, just like his 4 mana little sister who's 3/1 with haste and first strike too, and taps for one damage.
Kelsien, the Plague can swing and tap for pinging post combat. He can only shoot opposing stuff, but when they die you'll get an experience counter to pump his size for that swinging. The flashing Izzet Staticaster also will tap to just shoot dorks, this time all with the same name will take damage, use this to clear out 1/1 tokens with the same name, like your foe's Squirrels or 1 toughness in Commander like Esper Sentinel, et all.
Now let's finish with three-drop mono-Blue harder to cast pingers, the 0/1 has hexproof from red and taps to ping anything. The common 1/1 has flying and taps to ping, so evasion there for later in case you cannot ping for damage or need to block an attacker in the air that'll kill you.
Synergies and Win Cons
Now let's turn to synergies and backup win cons in addition to pingers just killing players. The three-drop artifact will let your tappers tap with haste. It's studly here. The three-drop Izzet colored 3/2 with ward 2 to protect a bit is next, and they'll turn one damage pings into three damage kills. Just one damage gets increased though.
Now let's turn pings into tokens! There are four in my brew. One of the best is three-drop 0/2 defender that'll turn pings into 1/1 flying deathtouch dorks named Insect, no one will attack you with flyer cards if you have some untapped since they don't want to trade down with tokens... I also can make grounded Insects with Saber Ants, or 1/1 Saprolings with Overgrown Armasaur. See also the copy player killing fast eight-drop 5/5 that turns pings into copies, it'll flood the battlefield fast! Love this token makers loads!
Now let's turn to win cons like the just printed Screaming Nemesis that turns damage here into a foe, or things, and they cannot gain life if you smashed them, or Stuffy Doll to be indestructible and suck up that damage and redirect it too. Want Fungusaurs but don't want the slots? I got you, enter Rite of Passage that turns damage into perma growth!
Now let's turn to untapping! Mass untap your stuff after pings on your turn each turn! Drumbellower and Seedborn Muse will do that, each untap. The White one just your dorks but with a flying body to smash over stuff. The Green one all of your stuff and a bigger butt, but pricier. Cacophodon will turn damage to untaps, so you can use it to untap your Commander or a beater after swinging! Or play with taps and untaps. With Rite of Passage you can make it infininiely large and keep untapping the Pinger.
I needed ways to protect my stuff and give them haste too. The five-drop enchantment gives the team hexproof, to save from targeted interaction and can regenerate to save with 2 mana each. Then the artifact will equip for zero for haste and shroud, ditto Swiftfoot Boots I don't normally run the latter two, but felt they made sense here with tappers to tap and protect in one card!
Answers
Now let's turn to non-Pinger answers, I am in Blue, but no space for counters, so I am running these three mono-Blue enchantments instead. The seven-drop will turn your foe's stuff into Illusions and when targeted they'll get sacrificed so when your pingers tap you'll kill. The five-drop will turn any targeting into bounces. Now that's your stuff, so you can tap to bounce your foe's Commander, or beater or tokens, and they can do it to your stuff too. Use it to bounce and save from targeted removal or post chump-blocked like Thornwind Fairies. You can drop the Aura on your Pingers, and then shoot them and bounce the damaged player's creature. I also am running triple Blue Charisma to turn pings into Control Magics.
Archetype of Finality is a 2/3 that gives your team deathtouch, and your foes will lose it too. It's awesome with Pingers to kill what's damaged! I also tossed in Basilisk Collar just reprinted and Standard-legal. Vhati il-Dal can tap to drop a toughness to one, to one shot kill with a pinger. I also brought in the Black legendary leader that makes all opposing dorks have a toughness of one called Maha, Its Feathers Night.
How about some enrage removal! The seven-drop 8/5 Red one will turn pings to opponents sacrificing their stuff, one each. The nine drop 10/10 will fight on arrival to clean up, and then turns pings to more fights.
Card Flow
Let's finish with card draw! Curiosity turns damage on a foe to card draw, and is missing the word "combat" in front of damage. You can draw with pings! Then this was color shifted to Green in Keen Sense, and then Snake Umbra-ed there and flash all four are here. Staff of Nin will draw in your upkeep and tap for no mana to shoot something. It used to get tons of Commander Play, renew it!
Now let's turn to the legendary leader that defines the Izzet name and genre and drawing and cards. I am running these two. The six-drop 5/5 flyer one just printed stops your hand size discards and then when your non-combat damage is dealt to a foe you'll draw that many cards! Wowzer Bowzer! The six-drop harder to cast 5/5 flyer will draw when he smashes a foe and you can mana sink two Izzet mana to shoot them or their stuff and a draw that card if it was them.
I need pingers into card draw, enter the four-drop Green 4/5 Dinosaur that does that when he takes that damage. The Boros colored 2/3 legendary leader turns non-combat damage to a creature equal to their toughness card draw! Remember Vhati and Maha? Or other 1 toughness things! Also you can tap this with X to increase noncombat damage to X to any target so a ping can kill a player fast or draw from a X/4. I tossed in the modal spell // land in Red that costs three and reloads to the bottom of your deck what you don't want to keep, and then draw to replace this, and its instant speed too!

I am running three modal spell // lands and then all of the synergies you can see above! This is pretty deep, for example, if you like flying pingers you could toss in Mawcor and, you could toss in Heroic Intervention and Teferi's Protection or counters like Arcane Denial that are splashable. I choose Beast Within and Generous Gift to destroy anything, but you could toss in Vindicate, or Utter End or Maelstrom Pulse.
Untappers like Kiora's Follower or Aphetto Alchemist? Infinite combo with pinger and Polyraptor Intruder Alarm to make infinite copies and kill? What about Volrath's Stronghold or Opposition to use those Pingers and tokens to tap stuff instead of killing when needed? Statecraft to turn your team into Fog Banks that can ping to kill? Sprouting Phytohydra? Arm with Aether for mass bouncing, Triskelion and Walking Ballista? Rakdos Ickspitter? Imperial Ceratops for life gain. Win con of Indoraptor, the Perfect Hybrid or Arabella, Abandoned Doll? Neetletooth Raptor for kills of dorks? Crime stuff since we are targeting them and their stuff often?
