Hello happy folks! I hope your day is going mega well! Today I wanted to knock out my Top Manaliths for Commander! I know, mana rocks can be a bit boring. That's all three mana rocks, not just Manaliths. Those are three-costed, artifact, colorless and tap for all colors of mana. I prefer them to things like Commander's Sphere or Worn Powerstone typically (some exceptions apply) because they can tap for all colors, even outside of your color identity, in case you Bribery a firebreathing Dragon from red in your Dimir deck, or someone is playing Norn's Annex and you aren't in White, you still have the White mana tax.

With that stated then, what are my favorite Manaliths for Commander?

Honorable Mention

This will tap for any color of mana, and then at sorcery speed you can tap this with a mana to toss a bounty counter on a dork, and when it's killed everyone else will draw a card and gain some life too! I love this with Commanders to increase their tax and reward your foe's for killing them. Try it, I think you'll like it much!

Hello Vee fans, I've got your next now Standard-legal Manalith here! You can crew it up for three and then attack with a 5/5. That'll drop the starting life total of someone in Commander by more than 10% in one hit of a Mana Rock! I love this in Vee decks obviously, but also control to make a dork after you swept with Wrath of God to get in smashes now. You can really close things out with it!

The Screwdrivers are next! In addition to tapping for any color of mana, you can tap them with one mana to tap or untap another artifact, with two to either scry or surveil 1 or with three to make a dork unblockable or goad one instead.

This three-drop ETB tapped will proliferate on arrival, and then tap with three mana instead if one foe has three or more poison counters. Love it loads my friends, love it loads!!!

#5. The Celestus

This three-drop will turn to day as it arrives to the battlefield and then you can tap it for three mana at sorcery speed to also move day to night and vice versa. When that happens you draw, discard, and gain a life too. You can do that tons with other day/night stuff or solo too. That card flow and life gain on a mana rock is great and the discards can set up recursion, delirium, threshold, flashback and more!

#4. Skyclave Relic AND Darksteel Ingot

You know what sucks about mana rocks and mana dorks? That they'll get caught up in mass removal for other things like Damnation without meaning to. But what if your mana rock had indestructible? Enter this pair! The Relic has a kicker of three and will make two copies and the original Ingot will just have indestructible base and then nothing else. Love them loads!

#3. Decanter of Endless Water

Our highest-scoring common hits #3! It fixes your mana nice and smooth and then also stops you from discarding. Love this little powerhouse loads, and you will too! One way to fight it, and Thought Vessel, is to wait until their EOT and destroy it instantly with Shatter, Disenchant or Naturalize stuff. Get ready to hold this grip in your hand all day long!

#2. Staff of Compleation

This three-drop will tap for various life to get effects for no mana. You can pay a life to destroy your stuff, two life for that mana, three for proliferating, four for drawing a card and five mana to untap this. In a format rife with life gain and starting at a life of 40, this is brilliantly powerful with all of its options!

#1. Chromatic Lantern

There couldn't be anything else here! It fixes your mana as all lands tap for all colors, plus it taps too!! This was so obvious I thought about naming this article "The Top Five Manaliths that aren't Chromatic Lantern!" Let's give it it's due Top Spot!
