Grand Prix Mexico City was only slightly larger than Day Two at Grand Prix Nagoya, but the Top 8 was loaded. The second Oath of the Gatewatch limited final table featured Pro Tour Dragons of Tarkir Champion Martin Dang, five-time Pro Tour Top 8 competitor Tomoharu Saito, and pro tour mainstays Fabrizio Anteri and Marcio Carvalho.
And it was two of these stalwarts facing off in the finals. Fabrizio Anteri blazed through his side of the bracket and after a short wait he squared off against Tomoharu Saito. Anteri found himself down a game after a marathon game one. He managed to claw his way back in game two and took a quick game three to add another trophy to his impressive Grand Prix resume.
Congratulations to Fabrizio Anteri, your Grand Prix Mexico City champion!
