Magic Online Leagues offer a way for players to participate in a tournament style event without having to dedicate one large chunk of time to get their games in. Both Constructed and Sealed Leagues have been successful since their return to the system and they will be getting an update after the digital release of Shadows over Innistrad.
Announced today, Sealed Leagues will now be three stages of three matches (instead of one stage of five matches). After every three matches a prize may be awarded based on record and the option to add a new booster pack will appear.
There will be a new "competitive" Constructed Leagues, starting with a Standard format league. These leagues will bias their prizes towards booster product rather than Play Points.
