Maybe Green-White Tokens has met its match. The archetype, which has been at the apex of Standard since Pro Tour Shadows over Innistrad fell in the finals of Grand Prix Taipei. Despite making up almost 27% of the Day 2 metagame the deck fell to the most popular deck in the Top 8 - Bant Company.
Lee Shi Tan, Yuta Takahasi, and eventual champion Yuuki Ichikawa all ran the Collected Company deck in Taipei. Ichikawa used the strength of the Dragons of Tarkir powerhouse to overwhelm Huang Yung-Ming's Green-White Tokens in the finals. This battle of decks featuring Dromka's Command was apt since there were 26 copies of the instant in the elimination rounds. In the end Ichikawa's Bant Company was too much and he now he has a second Grand Prix Trophy on his mantle.
Congratulations to Yuuki Ichikawa, your Grand Prix Taipei champion! More information on the Grand Prix can be found on the official coverage page.
