With War of the Spark right around the corner I decided to play a brew that would benefit from its release. This brew was originally donated by Noxie on stream. I changed a few cards around, mostly cutting Tezzeret and Karn's Temporal Sundering, but the core is still very much their idea. The deck tries to play legends and then play legendary sorceries. The two we run are Urza's Ruinous Blast and Yawgmoth's Vile Offering. Let's go ahead and look at the deck.

The deck is self-explanatory. You have removal and disruption then you try to win on the back of your big creatures or planeswalkers. When you're able to cast your legendary sorceries, they tend to swing the game in a big way. Keep in mind that whatever you steal with In Bolas's Clutches becomes legendary as well. This will turn on your legendary sorceries if you stole a non-legendary creature. Rona can also be a bit complex; I missed that Rona could exile Legendary Sorceries itself and cast them. Also keep in mind with Raff, you can also cast your legendary sorceries at instant speed. This is huge for both Offering and Ruinous Blast.
This deck is sweet, and I look forward to updating it with War of the Spark. Speaking of WAR, I will not have any videos coming out next week. I'll be working on the WAR Set Review instead. However, starting May 1st I should have new brews going up!
Until then, enjoy your pre-release and release weekends!
As always, thanks for reading,
