War of the Spark is out and it's time for Brews! On Wednesday we played a Five-color planeswalker list that was insane. Today I want to revisit my brew from last season that has basically become Tier 1 at this point. I wanted to try Tamiyo, Collector of Tales, Blast Zone, Narset, Parter of Veils, and Narset's Reversal. The deck was a blast to play, at least for us. It was probably annoying for the opponent's though. I won't spoil what happens, but let's look at the decklist.
Time Stamps:
Match 1 - 00:01:28
Match 2 - 00:27:25
Match 3 - 00:38:37
Match 4 - 00:56:00
Match 5 - 01:14:38
Match 6 - 01:36:40

I started with 4 Tamiyos and I'm so glad I did. This deck wants all four of the Kamigawa moonfolk, she does so much for the deck and turbos your win condition since she puts cards in your graveyard. Narset's Reversal was fantastic on cards like Chemister's Insight, swinging the tempo of the game heavily into your favor. Narset, Parter of Veils is solid against the mirror match and other control decks that draw a lot of cards or try to grind you out.
Blast Zone makes our worst matchup, Mono-Blue, very winnable. Especially since it comes into play with one counter and almost all their threats, including Curious Obsession has a converted mana cost of one.
If you enjoy Nexus, you'll enjoy this deck. Don't worry, I'll have more varied brews next week but I had to get this one out of my system.
As always, thanks for reading,
