MTG Arena got some Brawl product and with it came some pretty sweet legendary creatures. One of them, Chulane, Teller of Tales, so happens to be the card we brewed around for today. Untapping with Chulane means your opponents are forced to listen all his tails. Best case scenario for your opponent is that you just draw a bunch of cards and play a bunch of lands. Worst case scenario for your opponent is you lock them out with Chulane + Frilled Mystic/Agent of Treachery. Even something like re-buying Hydroid Krasis is powerful.
Let's have a look at the deck!

I originally was playing Field of the Dead in this deck, but it just slowed us down to much since we had to play so many come into play tapped lands. Switching to just a good mana base helped our curve a lot and overall the deck just felt better. The deck acts a tempo midrange deck but that can transform into a full-on midrange deck against aggressive strategies. You won't want Mystical Dispute and such against Gruul Aggro or Mono-Red Aggro so the Sideboard allows you to gain life and have the very versatile Aether Gust.
The deck here is a little different than the one I played in the video because this is the updated version and this one, I think, is better. In the video we tried Hypnotic Sprite, but I was unimpressed with the card. If you enjoy midrange, tempo, or just want to play with Chulane then I would recommend you try this deck. It's fun and interactive!
As always thanks for reading and I hope you have wonderful weekend!
