As we settle into the end of the Standard season, it is time for something fresh and fun. Today I bring you a brew of the Werewolf variety. We have all seen key lupine creatures like Lambholt Pacifist and Duskwatch Recruiter, but there are some other real power houses like Ulrich of the Krallenhorde. Curving Geier Reach Bandit into Collected Company is an easy way to flip a lot of werewolves and a very powerful play. Cards like Howlpack Resurgence reward you for flooding the board and Spirit of the Hunt helps protect you from Avacyn flipping and Languish. All the werewolves are way above the normal power level when flipped and a major thing to note isβ.β.β.β they aren't rotating.

We really had a rough run this week but we did have some sweet plays. When we weren't mulliganing and stuck on two lands, a lot of our cards were quite powerful. For the amount of mana we are spending on our creatures, they are way above the power level when flipped and because of this Geier Reach Bandit over performed. The Bandit was threatening so much that it makes me wonder about Waxing Moon with cards like Smoldering Werewolf and Shrill Howler. Those werewolves never flip back and are a small engine on their own. I think you could go much bigger and focus on a longer game with the deck or go leaner and more aggressive. Below I have posted a deck list for each idea.
