Bushido was introduced in the Kamigawa block, given the term's obvious relation to the Asian theme of the block. It is often compared with Flanking.
702.42. Bushido
- 702.42a. Bushido is a triggered ability. "Bushido N" means "Whenever this creature blocks or becomes blocked, it gets +N/+N until end of turn." (See rule 309, "Declare Blockers Step.")
- 702.42b. If a creature has multiple instances of bushido, each triggers separately.
Rules Translation
- 702.42a. - Bushido is a triggered ability that occurs when the creature is blocked. When this happens the creature gets +N/+N for the rest of the turn.
- 702.42b. - Bushido does stack. So multiple occurrences of Bushido on a creature trigger independently.
