For all of the talk about non-interactive decks that are focused on turn one kills, Vintage is a highly interactive format that is as much dependent on card advantage and attrition as any other. Sure, sometimes cards like Strip Mine, Time Vault, and Yawgmoth's Will lead to one-sided blowouts, but games are just as likely to go on for many turns as they are to end quickly. If you expect to be able to make games go longer, then maximizing your card advantage and access to powerful restricted cards seems like a great place to be. Pomegrant has an interesting take on this strategy:

The strategy here isn’t revolutionary. People have been using cards like Demonic Tutor, Tinker, and Snapcaster Mage to maximize their access to restricted cards since Vintage was a format. The key here is that this deck gets to do it in a shell that maximizes access to powerful hate cards. The backbone of the deck is casting cascade creatures and finding other powerful threats or busted restricted cards. Given that you have the likes of Preordain, Brainstorm, Ponder, and Sensei's Divining Top to set up the top of your deck, it’s not hard to imagine your cascade spells hitting key cards like Dack Fayden, Sylvan Library, and Ancestral Recall.

The important thing is that, as a Temur deck rather than Jeskai or Esper, you get to play powerful hate cards like Pyroblast, Ancient Grudge, and Dack Fayden. It’s also worth noting that this deck can’t hit the likes of Gush, Force of Will, or Treasure Cruise, which means that you’re more likely to hit a proactive card or something absolutely busted. With the amount of deck manipulation, it’s not hard to imagine living the dream of Bloodbraid Elf cascading into Shardless Agent cascading into Time Walk.

Given how crazy this deck could get if you could chain cascade spells, it’s a little strange to me that there’s no Fastbond in the 75. Similarly, with the amount of deck manipulation available, I think it’s strange that there are no Ancestral Visions and Misdirections in the sideboard to make sure you maximize your ability to win fights over draw threes.

If you’re looking to bury other Blue decks under the crushing weight of free cards, this is a great way to do it. There’s plenty of room for exploration and tweaking, and the density of cascade spells gives singletons more room to shine than they might have otherwise. Corner cases and splashy singletons come up more in Vintage than any other format, which makes me think this deck has a ton of potential.
