In a lot of ways, legendary is often mostly just a flavor condition. Yes, of course you sometimes get stuck with a second copy in hand and are unable to play it, but aside from that being legendary has very little effect on actual gameplay compared to a non-legendary permanent.
Well let's turn that one on its head with a deck that's very legendary!

I've messed around with Bard Class before in past formats, but VML competitor Bryndis has one cooked up for current Standard which joins Bard Class alongside the seemingly made-for-casual Mirror Box.
There are less quality two-mana Gruul legends now than there were then, but there are still some very good ones. Halana and Alena, Partners in particular plays so much better than it looks, while Tovolar, Dire Overlord // Tovolar, the Midnight Scourge is also very solid. This means without Bard Class you're playing a somewhat worse aggressive Gruul deck, but once you have Bard Class out you can quickly dump your hand while pumping all of your creatures. As you saw in the games that can be explosive, but the deck can certainly play without Bard Class in play as well.
If you're looking for an extremely fun and explosive Standard deck that's both off the beaten path as well as packing some raw power, look no further!
