Magic players always love to make comparisons when viewing new things.
A new deck has been blazing through Pioneer lately, utilizing Venerated Loxodon alongside the new Knight-Errant of Eos and Gleeful Demolition to routinely put double digits worth of power onto the battlefield on turn two. This of course is very similar to what the old Hogaak decks used to do in Modern, which would ultimately see the card being banned for being too consistently explosive.
While Boros Convoke isn't quite Hogaak levels of good, it is one of the most exciting new Pioneer decks in a very long time, providing explosive potential and a surprisingly good long game. Well, we've seen the deck in Pioneer, how can we port it over to Explorer on MTG Arena?

Just as explosive as ever!
While the deck does lose a few cards that are in Pioneer but not yet in Explorer, most notably Reckless Bushwhacker, the replacements are more than reasonable and honestly it allows the deck to move away from Burning-Tree Emissary and in a more consistent direction. Not needing on turn two every game makes the mana base much easier, while it also allows you to play more White creatures to convoke with as well as more creatures in general to make Knight-Errant of Eos hit more. And you get to play Jegantha, the Wellspring too!
Regal Leosaur steps in for Reckless Bushwhacker and is a very solid replacement; a little easier to interact with but offering a much bigger power boost. We've also got a few copies of Snubhorn Sentry, which is a great 1-drop in the deck that gets City's Blessing very fast, but is also resilient to sweepers like End the Festivities and Goblin Chainwhirler.
This deck is a blast to play, with some interesting sequencing choices, a surprisingly robust ability to grind, and of course phenomenally explosive draws!
