Amonkhet Remastered is making waves in Historic, as all eyes turn to the format which will have its first major event this weekend at the Mythic Invitational. God-Pharaoh's Gift is a very powerful engine that had a serious impact on Standard when it was legal there and now the question is... will it make an impact in Historic?
All signs point to yes.
The question is, what is the best way to play it?

There's a lot of good things happening here.
The important thing about building a good God-Pharaoh's Gift deck amusingly doesn't have much to do with God-Pharaoh's Gift itself. Rather, it's what your deck does when you don't have God-Pharaoh's Gift in play that is going to make a huge difference.
With a very low curve and great engines like Priest of Forgotten Gods and Cryptbreaker, this deck is more than able to draw cards and interact even without the raw power of God-Pharaoh's Gift. Between those as well as Woe Strider and a robust mana base that contains two of the best non-basic lands in the format in Castle Locthwain and Phyrexian Tower, there's a lot of nice interactions. Furthermore, Phyrexian Tower is also amazingly good with Gate to the Afterlife, while also making just casting Massacre Wurm a reality as well.
If you love God-Pharaoh's Gift and are looking for the best way to play it in Historic, this may just be it!
