Lava Spike and Boros Charm are icons in Magic: the Gathering when it comes to the idea of a Burn deck.
If you look up "Burn" in the Magic dictionary, there they would be looking back at you.
Well now they're back!

Technically we've got Boltwave not Spike (which is an improvement unless you've got Glacial Ray in your deck), but both classics join an already impressive burn suite already in Standard.
Lightning Helix, Burst Lightning, and friends put together a nice burn package, but the big draw here is a few quick aggro creatures that can get their first shot of damage in regardless of removal spells on top of a very interesting card draw engine. You're already trying to empty your hand, so Case of the Crimson Pulse plays perfectly and you can use the extra cards you draw immediately to kill your opponent and put the game away.
If you're a Burn player, rejoice because you're back!
