The global tour of Modern Masters 2015 continues! Moving west from Chiba the tournament scene settled in Utretcht. The Grand Prix started Saturday with 3,613 players but only one of them would be able to hoist the trophy.

That player turned out to be Davide Vergoni of Italy. Relying on a power four-color deck in the Top 8, he was able to make short work of his opponent Lars Rosengren. Rosengren was never able to find stable ground in game two of the finals and had to relinquish his King of the Hill title to Vergoni, as well as the title of Grand Prix Utrecht Champion.
