Judges are a vital part of the Magic community helping to ensure the rules are upheld and the games are fair. On this day, a judge demonstrated once again that those with an intimate knowledge of the rules can also play the game at the highest level.

In a rather verdant Top 8, the finals of Grand Prix Providence came down to Sky Mason and his Red-Green Devotion deck facing off against Neal Sacks piloting Abzan Aggro. It took three games, but Mason, a Level 2 Judge, came out on top and hoisted the trophy.
