More information about the first Arena of the Planeswalkers expansion, Battle for Zendikar, is coming to light. The characters of Ob Nixilis and Kiora were revealed at Pax Prime, but there is a third hero character available in the expansion:

As reported on Toyland, Battle for Zendikar lets players assume the role of an Eldrazi Ruiner. The expansion is designed around having multiple players team up to take down the monster from the Blind Eternities in a format reminiscent of Archenemy.

Arena of the Planeswalkers: Battle for Zendikar will be released in January, 2016 and retail for $19.99. If you are attending Spiel in Essen, you can demo the game on Thursday, October 8th.
