The biggest Legacy event of the summer is in the books! 1,550 players made the trek to Lille, France to do battle with Force of Will, Wasteland, and Brainstorm. A big part of the appeal of Legacy is the enormously deep cardpool and subsequent diversity of viable strategies, and Lille did not disappoint. Twenty-seven distinct archetypes made the cut to day two. After the dust settled, five completely unqiue archetypes in the Top 8, with two copies of Miracles and Delver still being substantially different from one another.

At the end of the day, it was Claudio Bonanni and his build of Miracles featuring Monastery Mentor in place of Jace, the Mind Sculptor and Entreat the Angels who took down the whole event. Bonanni sliced his way through the competition with surgical precision, defeating Jaroslav Boucek and Christoph Alsheimer with Aggro Loam in the quarterfinals and semifinals before squaring off against Oliver Ruel in the Miracles mirror in the finals.
