CoolStuffCon Orlando is almost here! Players from all over the world will be gathering together in Orlando, Florida for a weekend full of awesome Magic: The Gathering gameplay! With a little over three weeks left to go, this event is bound to cater to all manner of players.

CommandFest is back on the menu and with it comes a somewhat heavier focus on competitive play. While many will go to this event seeking out fun, chill, and casual games with familiar and unfamiliar faces alike, others will be seeking glory. cEDH has proven more and more popular over the past several years and many want to show off their skills at these high-powered tables.

While most convention attendees looking to participate in CommandFest can pay for their event access with a Tier 1 package costing $79.99, cEDH players can enhance their access with the Tier 2 package. For an additional $20 - $99.99 total - players not only get everything the Tier 1 CommandFest package offers, but will also gain entry into the special $5k cEDH tournament! This event will take place on Saturday at 10am for anyone who purchases one of these Tier 2 packages.

Players in this event will have the opportunity to duke it out for glory and their share of the $5,000 prize pool! First place walks away with $1,100 while everyone else in that top pod (2nd through 4th) takes home $500 apiece. From there, anyone who goes between 5th and 16th place takes home $200 each. Not a bad way to spend a Saturday!
