These are the voyages of Star Trek Ascendency

Boldly go where no man has gone before with Star Trek Ascendancy! In this 4x Game (Explore, Expand, Exploit, and Exterminate) based on the Star Trek universe, 3 players will take the reins of a prominent Star Trek civilization as they cross the galaxy and build their influence and power.

Take the aggressive route with the Klingons, make trade agreements with the Romulans, or spread peace and diplomacy with the Federation. Can you spread your influence across the galaxy? This is Star Trek Ascendency.

Build the Galaxy as you Explore

As players take their turns, they'll use actions to explore the farthest reaches of the galaxy. When players move, they'll roll a die to determine which size Space Lane they'll use to reach the next planet, building off of the network of lanes and planets they've already discovered.

The galaxy will sprawl before you as you add and connect more planets, bringing you into contact with untouched worlds and other civilizations from the Star Trek universe. Surprises await you on every planet as you search for resources to help you in your quest to reach ascendancy.

Spread your influence

Each planet presents players with new opportunities to expand their empires. Invade planets, extend the hand of diplomacy, and get the resources you need to further your cause.

Invade Planets
Some planets you encounter will be untouched by the hand of progress and civilization. Others, however, will be home to both pre- and post-warp civilizations that won't take kindly to you plundering their resources. Crush the resistance by force or make a deal to win them over more peacefully. The choice is yours.

Clash with Fleets
Players will often come into contact with each other and other hazards as they cross the galaxy. Sometimes these meetings will end violently. Build up your fleets and research improvements to your weapons and shields so you can face the dangers that await you and crush any who dare oppose you.

Gather and use resources
The resources you find as you cross the galaxy can be used to further your goals. Develop new technologies with Research. Build up your fleets with Production. Use your culture to acquire Ascendancy Tokens, building up to five so you can win the game in a more peaceful way. Resources are key, so get out there and find them!
