Follow your Leads
Players will begin each case with a summary of details from Sherlock himself. With this basic knowledge, a Map of London, a London Directory, and the day's newspaper, players will follow leads and attempt to solve the case.
Mapping Your Progress
Players are given a map of London (and a Map of Whitechapel for the Jack the Ripper campaign) which will help them determine the addresses of locations they might wish to visit. The Map will also allow players to confirm any alibis for potential suspects by using the travel time duration scale. The Map is an indispensible tool for solving the many cases contained within the game.
The London Directory
With the addresses obtained from the Map of London, investigators must turn to the London Directory in order to follow their leads. The directory contains a complete list of all the residents and business throughout the city and will help investigators get ever closer to the truth.
Fit to Print
The players will have one more resource available to them, other than their own minds of course. Each case has a corresponding newspaper for the date of the case. The information contained within could assist players in finding leads to follow or provide them with a piece of information crucial to cracking the case. Newspaper from past cases can also provide clues to help solve a later case, so keep them on hand. For this expansion, the newspapers from the Jack the Ripper campaign are considered separate from the other six cases.
