With the discovery of the sea routes to India, each guild establishes new trading posts. Who will adapt the best and the fastest to the worldwide new trade rules?
The Trading Post expansion brings a new board with powerful options if you meet the requirements. Each player takes their Coat of Arms and places them on the abilities once the requirements have been fulfilled. They'll then have access to that bonus or power in the future! Add a new layer of strategy with the Trading Post Expansion!
The Road to the Orient!
The Orient is now opening its wealth to all and patrons are more and more attracted by its exoticism. In this fluctuating context, will you be able to transform your commercial empire?
The Orient expansion introduces 30 new Orient cards split between three decks, one for each level. In addition to the four base game cards, two Orient cards for each level will be available for purchase and provide unique effects. Some cards are worth two bonuses, some count as an extra of a bonus you already have, and some will let you acquire a card of a level below it for free! Build more intricate engines with The Orient expansion!
Venture to the City!
Bruges, Lyon, Lisbon, Seville, Venice, Florence, Pisa: each city wants to make a unique major scale jeweler's work and, to this end, spends lavishly. But will you be able to fulfill these extravagent demands?
The Cities expansion replaces the Noble tiles with three City tiles. At the end of a player's turn, if they meet the requirements of a city, they automatically take that city tile. Each city has a prestige point requirement and a bonus requirement. When a city tile is taken, complete the current round; and, if only one player took a city tile that round, they win the game. If multiple people took a city tile that round, the player with the most prestige points wins!
Build Strongholds!
While big cities establish trading colonies, the stakes and tensions emphasize. Each guild builds strongholds to protect its wealth from adverse ambitions and to facilitate its expansion.
With the Strongholds expansion, whenever a player purchases a card, they must place one of their Strongholds on a face-up card without another player's Stronghold or remove another player's Stronghold from a card. As long as a player has a Stronghold on a card, they are the only player who can purchase that card. However, if a player places all three Strongholds on the same card, they may purchase that card normally after their action for the turn.
