The Top Kicker and Multikicker Cards for Commander/Multiplayer
Hello happy folks! I thought it would be fun to knock out my favorite Kicker cards for the format we all love called Commander and general multiplayer fun too. Kicker is great early and then late too, and was introduced in many fans' favorite sets and blocks, Invasion on things like Kavu Titan and Thornscape Battlemage. Then you can cast it early or later when you draw it, and it's great with ramp.
Honorable Mentions
Molten Disaster
This double-Red to start X spell sorcery is first! It deals damage to all grounded stuff and players like an Earthquake that costs one more to start. It's got a one Red mana kicker and when you use that it's got split second and cannot be responded to or answered traditionally. Then you kill other players no countering or gaining life instantly since it hits you all too as long as you have the most life.
Archangel of Wrath
This four-mana White 3/4 flying with lifelink is next! You can spend a Red or Black mana to Shock any target, and that lifelink will trigger for life gained. Then if you have spent both kickers Shock twice. You can Shock the same target, the next one doesn't include the word "another". Its only issue is that three-color identity here for Commander, but if you are running them, why not run it too?
Reclaim the Wastes
This one-mana Green sorcery is next with a three-mana kicker. On resolution it'll search out a basic for your hand like Lay of the Land but if kicked, two lands to your hand. Lands might be boring, but that 2:1 potential is fun!
Roost of Drakes
This one-mana Blue uncommon enchantment is next with three mana for that sweet kicker. When it ETBs with kicker it makes a 2/2 Drake, and when you cast a kicker you'll also make it, making it one of the few kicker matters cards that also have kicker too!
Thieving Skydiver
This two-drop mono-Blue 2/1 flyer is our final card before the top five! It's got X kicker not 0 though. When it ETBs you can steal the kicked mana value or less of artifact from your foes and if an Equipment equip this for free! Love it, but don't be that guy and steal someone's Arcane Signet et all that they need to cast their stuff.

#5. Joint Exploration
This two-mana Blue instant has a Green kicker with that Simic identity overall for Commander. Without that kicker, scry 2 and then draw. With it you can drop that land this turn, making this a better Explore. Love it much as I am sure you do too!
#4. Skyclave Relic AND Everflowing Chalice
The Relic is awesome since base it's just a mana rock with indestructible with three mana kicker for two copies, so it's a better Darksteel Ingot. It's not just here! It also made my Top Manaliths for Commander! The Chalice costs zero, with multikicker 2. You can drop it turn two for a single mana. Then it scales up massively as you have more and more mana and also is an essential in proliferate brews. This pair could be my top spot easily! But the next three have slightly better pedigrees but this duo are my top scoring permanents. Love them much!
#3. Vines of Vastwood
It gives a target dork you control hexproof this turn to remove targeted interaction, like, say, your Commander! Then you can kick it for one mana to give it +4/+4 too, like a better Giant Growth, this is a great card everywhere, but an essential in Poison/Infect, Boggles and Voltron brews for those reasons. For those reasons it must make my list, and yours too, right?
#2. Comet Storm and Shout-out to Strength of the Tajuru
These two X Spell stuff with multikicker and then two to start are next! The Red one will shoot a dork or other target base at instant speed and then another for each one mana spent. Shout out to the Green one that tosses X +1/+1 counters on something base, like your Commander and then each other dork for each time it was kicked. Both are in the colors of ramp like Red's Treasures and Rituals and Green's land ramp like Rampant Growth and dorks like Birds of Paradise. This pair are broken in the colors too.
#1. Rite of Replication
I know this four-mana sorcery that copies one dork permanently, but five if you kicked it, for five more mana used to be an auto-include in many decks in Commander but less so today. You'll love it much! From Solemn Simulacrum to Mulldrifter there are tons of great things to copy! It'll copy other stuff too not just yours. Don't you...forget about this! Run it, love it, play it and adore it!
