One week removed from Pro Tour Shadows over Innistrad, Grand Prix Toronto showcased the new Standard. After 15 rounds one player stood undefeated - Josh Buitenhuis in his first Grand Prix ever.
Alas, he was not able to run the table. Instead the finals saw Jon Stern with Green-White Tokens up against Robert Lombardi and Esper Dragons. It came down to the third game but Tokens were not able to prevail for the second week in a row and Lombardi, on the back of Dragonlords, raised the trophy.
