In a performance for the ages, Brad Nelson has won Grand Prix Denver. Less than a month after he and his brother Corey Baumeister both made the Top 8 of Grand Prix Minneapolis, the duo did it again in the Mile High City. This time they were joined by reigning World Champion Brian Braun-Duin, all playing the exact same 75 cards.
It was a 1-2-3 finish, with Nelson taking out his brother in the semifinals before dispatching the World Champion. Brad Nelson has proved once again that he is a force to be reckoned with in Standard, taking his Temur Energy build to the top of the heap two weeks after a strong brotherly finish with Black-Green Constrictor.
