It's the weekend and that means best of three video! Today I build around Theater of Horrors, a card that I believe to be underplayed. Instead of going the aggressive route, I go more of a midrange / control route. I like this style better as we can leverage Theater of Horrors more.
This was supposed to be the deck I played last Friday but I had technical difficulties on my side, and it was not so. It's all right though, I enjoy playing this deck enough to play it again! Here's the decklist.

The deck is not hard to play but it is very fun. Just try to stall out the game until you can start playing your card advantage spells in Rix Maadi Reveler, Angrath, the Flame-Chained, Theater of Horrors, or The Eldest Reborn. You can also have a very aggressive route with turn two Rix Maadi Reveler or Tithe Taker into Spawn of Mayhem. Spawn on turn three can be lights out against slower decks because it just does so much damage so quickly. The deck seems to have game against everything because the removal answers everything from creatures, artifacts, enchantments, to planeswalkers. Gate and some control decks can be hard. Gate is the hardest because it is near impossible to out attrition Guild Summit and Hydroid Krasis. You need Mortify, Theater, or aggression to keep up with Gates. I would not recommend this deck for best of one as that tends to be plagued with more aggressive decks. If you want to play it in best of one, I would recommend adding some Moment of Craving and Cry of the Carnarium to the main deck.
You should check the videos out though, I am pretty good at telling when decks have potential and this brew does have potential. Highly recommend it if you enjoy playing grindy decks or non-Blue control decks.
As always, thanks for reading,
