Modern has been all about Modern Horizons 2 cards as of late, but because of how good all the reactive cards are in the format the format has shifted very fair. Do you know what's good against fair decks?
While Karn and friends haven't gained a whole lot from Modern Horizons 2 and other recent releases, there's still something to be said for making a whole bunch of mana and casting some huge spells. Without specific sideboard cards that aren't very prevalent right now, many of the format's fair decks struggle against Tron, and even against something like Hammertime and its potential turn three kills, we've got access to a whole bunch of cheap sideboard cards like Nature's Claim.
If it ain't broke don't fix it, and as we saw in this league, I was a misclick away from being 5-0.
Tron lives!
