Some cards just look like they are made for Commander.

Not only is Light-Paws, Emperor's Voice a cheap legendary creature with a very clear build-around theme, the triggered ability actually cares about not wanting auras with the same names, a drawback that is irrelevant in Commander!
But, as has been the case with numerous "Commander" cards like True-Name Nemesis and Hullbreacher, what if we take Light-Paws into a 60 card format?

Light-Paws ends up being very odd in Historic.
While it does allow you to tutor up some interesting auras and provide you card advantage like Kor Spiritdancer and Sram, Senior Edificer do, it does have some issues as well. One is that you are stuck putting the auras directly on Light-Paws when you may rather put them somewhere else, especially relevant when Light-Paws has summoning sickness.
However, perhaps the most damning aspect is twofold.
You don't actually draw cards!
This means that you can't keep drawing and chaining auras like you would with Kor Spiritdancer because the next aura you get doesn't replace itself immediately to keep the chain going. It also means that you can't use Light-Paws to draw more interactive spells, which becomes even more important in the post sideboard games.
All and all, I think unless some very specific and situational auras get introduced into Historic that you really want to tutor up, the more traditional Auras lists without Light-Paws seem a lot better to me.
It was worth a shot though!
