Slogurk, the Overslime feels like a Commander card.
It's a clear build around for decks playing a bunch of awesome lands, good with fetchlands, and very thematic. However, do not underestimate this slime!
Standard is currently full of some of the best spell-lands we've ever seen with the Kamigawa legendary channel lands, and when you mix this with Plaza of Heroes and a whole bunch of awesome legends, things start to get out of hand!

This deck has been floating around the last few Regional Championships, taking 2nd place in one a few weeks ago, and mixes up many of the best parts of Esper Legends with an exciting late game engine.
With Thalia, Guardian of Thraben, Raffine, Scheming Seer, and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse and friends all hanging out, this deck is capable of the same sorts of uber-powerful curve out draws as Esper Legends, but the Green addition gives the deck a lot on top of that. Slogurk in concert with Takenuma, Abandoned Mire gives you limitless fuel in the mid to late game, while also giving you extra "spells" from your lands that don't get taxed by Thalia.
The raw power level here on a card-by-card basis is insane, and with the ability to come out swinging or go super long, this deck is a wild-looking but very serious contender in Standard!
