Let's face it, it's difficult to go into Constructed these days without having a companion by your side.
Lurrus of the Dream-Den has been the most played companion in older formats, but others are often getting in on the fun as well. Gyruda, Doom of Depths is making combo waves in Legacy, while Yorion, Sky Nomad is joining forces with every good fair Blue card printed in recent memory to make major waves in both Modern and Pioneer.
But not every companion needs to be a total game breaker. Sometimes you just need a friend that doesn't ask much of you, but is always there when you need something to do with your mana.
Jegantha, meet Karn. Karn, meet Jegantha. I'm sure you'll be fast friends.

Decks with maindeck Pillage/Magus of the Moon and decks that kill on turn three were always a problem for Tron and that much hasn't changed. However, besides that things went quite well!
Jegantha won us at least one game by itself, while factoring in to a few other games as well. We didn't always cast it, but Jegantha is more of a plan B than a primary focus anyway. While Lurrus decks warp themselves with all sorts of weird cards like Seal of Fire and Mishra's Bauble to try and maximize Lurrus, Jengatha is just here to be a free piece of material to use when we're a bit short of things to do with our mana. Jengatha did this job very well.
Losing Walking Ballista and Dismember is a slight loss, but we can make up for it by slanting our deck a little bit in that direction. The deck probably wants a third Spatial Contortion in the sideboard, but realistically Tron felt as good as it ever has. If people are trying to out fair deck each other with Lurrus and Yorion, Tron is a great place to be!
