Greasefang, Okiba Boss has always operated in an odd place in Explorer/Pioneer.
The combo allowing you to attack with Parhelion II as early as turn three is a powerful one, but despite this Greasefang has never been able to find the consistency needed to rise to the top of the metagame. For every game it goes off on turn three, there are many more where it flounders around playing Witherbloom Command and Raffine's Informant and never putting things together in the face of interaction.
Well, what if the Greasefang plan was a plan B?

Kyle Gonzales won a NRG $5k last week with this innovative take on Greasefang, moving the combo to the backseat in an Esper Legends-type shell.
Greasefang and the accompanying combo pieces are of course already legendary, and there's a ton of cross over when it comes to putting cards in your graveyard. Raffine, Scheming Seer, Rona, Herald of Invasion // Rona, Tolarian Obliterator, and Emry, Lurker of the Loch all help to find your vehicles and get them in the bin, while Skrelv, Defector Mite and Thalia, Guardian of Thraben help slow your opponent down and protect the combo when needed.
Add in Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, which will tax your opponent's removal as they're already trying to stop Greasefang, as well as the channel lands and Mox Amber for a bit of speed and you've got a really innovative take on the archetype that's quite the dual threat!
