There's no question that Black is the best color in Standard.
The question is "which color do I want to pair it with?"
Before Fable of the Mirror-Breaker was banned, the easy answer was Red. Since the banning it has been Blue. But now, it may finally be time for Green to step out of the shadows and into the limelight, with a bunch of great new cards as well as an interesting twist.

This deck, played by KOMATTAMAN to 5th place in a challenge on Magic Online, takes a lot of the elements you would expect from a Black/Green deck in Standard, but adds something a bit unique.
There's no question that Restless Cottage is excellent and probably the best of the new creature lands, further increasing the draw to Black/Green as the midrange color combo of choice, but taking this to the next level is playing Blossoming Tortoise to ramp, provide card advantage, and augment and improve the creature lands. This makes the Restless Cottages even better, while even including a few Mishra's Foundry.
Creature lands already play amazing in a midrange deck with Liliana of the Veil, and this is a very interesting take on the archetype!
