Alrund's Epiphany this.
Esika's Chariot that.
Look me in the eye and tell me that's all you can do in Standard!
There's a new control deck in town and it's of the much more classic variety, utilizing two extremely powerful creatures in Lier, Disciple of the Drowned and Xanathar, Guild Kingpin. Both cards present an extreme amount of card advantage if you are able to untap with them, which is exactly what this deck is set to do. Furthermore, being creatures helps to insulate them against all the cards meant to prey on Alrund's Epiphany like Test of Talents, Duress, Negate, and Malevolent Hermit // Benevolent Geist.
Kill stuff, strip your opponent's hand, kill more stuff, and land a bomb.
Just good old-fashioned Magic!

This particular list is definitely skewed towards beating the aggressive decks, with Mono-Green Aggro as the number one target. We saw this in the games in the video, as you've got to turn to a very impressive sideboard when it's time to beat the combo and control decks in all of your awesome creatures, with Graveyard Trespasser // Graveyard Glutton being the biggest standout.
If you like control decks, as well as win conditions that really make your opponent slump into their chair, then behold!
