Hello Tutor fans! I hope your day is going well! Today I want to look at the top Tutors ever printed for Commander. Now, since we all know that Demonic Tutor is the best, I am looking at non-DT for my slots. Ready?

Honorable Mention #1

This seven-mana sorcery will fetch out two dorks from your library to your hand, drop them from your hand onto the field, or both for two more mana! It is beloved in Commander and other casual formats, from Five-Color to Type Four. It's a Tutor and win-con combined into one spicey card. Now, you might not look at it as a Tutor, since it's really played for the other half, but it is, my friends. It is. Hence my Honorable Mention spot!

Honorable Mention #2

Hello creature fans, I've got a real rare Tutor now that's our only multicolor option for two mana. This instant lets you Tutor for a dork, and toss it into your hand. You can do it at the end of the turn to cast on your turn, or you can grab a flash dork like Mystic Snake or Whitemane Lion. Or you can get a flash to save your life from an attack out of nowhere with a hasted Blightsteel Colossus. Then you can just cast it normal speed too. It's good stuff for the win-tuff!

Number Five

Let's start with a two-cost black tutor, similar to Demonic Tutor. You can search up any card to your hand, but you also have to sacrifice a creature. Many Commander decks prefer this to Demonic Tutor since it's cheaper on the secondary market, and triggers death triggers with identical costs.

Number Four

Initially printed as uncommons, Mystical Tutor and Enlightened Tutor are our instant speed, 1-drop options. The blue one will toss an instant or sorcery onto the top of your library and the white one an artifact or enchantment. Each of these are here, unlike Worldly Tutor, since they can grab two types of spells, not just one. Also note that these are just card disadvantage since you don't put the card in your hand, but you can cast them on your Draw step or when your Opt is on the stack. Love them loads!

Number Three

Another uncommon Tutor, and this time it hasn't been rare shifted. This double costed Demonic Tutor will tutor for anything and toss it into your hand, no muss, no fuss. It's the People's Tutor since it's pretty cheap here at CoolStuffInc.com, just a buck for a near mint copy. I have run it regularly in my Budget Commander series. Get yours!

Number Two

Obviously, if Mystical and Enlightened Tutor made the cut, Vampiric Tutor will too since it'll tutor for anything at the cost of 2 life, a minor cost in Commander. All of the same rules apply. Shout out to sorcery speed 1-drop Imperial Seal which also costs two life and is mega cheap too.

Number One

Ah yes, the recently reprinted Grim Tutor! This costs three, puts anything into your hand, and then you lose three life instead of two. That's so great in Commander with three life being very little. Its recent reprint in a Standard legal set makes it respectively cheap here right now. Pick them up now!
