In a change from the previous three Modern Grand Prix, Birthing Pod was missing from the Top 8 at Grand Prix Antwerp. Another powerful combo deck too its place however, and Patrick Dickmann's Splinter Twin deck ran roughshod over his opponents. While his final's opponent, Anteri Fabrizio, made a valiant effort with his 'Tron deck it was all for naught against Dickmann's consistent turn four closings.
