This year's panel at San Diego Comic-Con wasn't streamed live, but all of the information was live tweeted by the @wizards_magic Twitter account. The panel spent a majority of time focused on Magic Origins and the new angle on storytelling Magic is entering, unlike previous years with a dedicated platform for promoting new products and releases.
The Q&A session at the end of the panel pulled question from Twitter, and covered the breadth of Magic including racial identity of Planeswalkers, an Android client for the new Magic Duels release, sale of the SDCC_exclusive Magic art book and more. They did squeeze a few previews in, including Akroma, Angel of Fury and Akroma, Angel of Wrath from From the Vault: Angels.
(The video of the panel was added 7/16 when it was published.)
3-set blocks are... problematic. As many of you know, #MTGOrigins marks the beginning of a new Standard rotation. pic.twitter.com/SH0s4EPGlu

There's another benefit to 2-set blocks. We'll be visiting more set locations with new stories! #SDCC2015 #MTGOrigins

Our shift in storytelling means a central cast of characters, a continuous story, getting stories on cards and tying up loose threads.

What would happen if Gideon and Jace moved a couch? Gideon moves the couch and THINKS Jace is helping him.

Gideon is designed to be Indo-Iranian. We want to expand racial representation in our game. It's a topic that we always have in mind.

Right now we do not currently have plans to bring Magic Duels to Android, but the persistent client may allow it in the future.

The SDCC Exclusive MTG book isn't available for purchase on its own, but if there is demand it is definitely a possibility.

We are working on a way to bring the older stories (novels, etc) online.
