The inductees for the 2017 Pro Tour Hall of Fame class have been revealed. This year the threshold for induction was raised so that candidates would have to appear on 60% of ballots (as opposed to 40%) in order to be enshrined. Two new players will be getting their Hall of Fame rings at Pro Tour Ixalan in a few months.
Martin J?za and Josh-Utter Leyton will be entering the Hall of Fame this year. Utter-Leyton, known as Wrapter, was considered a lock with five Pro Tour Top 8s and an impressive resume that includes a Magic Online Championship. J?za has had impressive results at Grand Prix with 26 Top 8s and 4 wins. He also added a third Pro Tour Top 8 in the last year which helped bolster his accomplishments enough to get him into the Hall.
Congratulations to Martin J?za and Josh Utter-Leyton, your 2017 Hall of Fame inductees!
